Tamilnadu
Tamil Nadu is one of the 28 states of India. Its capital is Chennai, the largest city. Tamil Nadu lies in the southernmost part of the Indian Peninsula and is bordered by the union territory of Puducherry, and the states of Kerala, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh. It is bound by the Eastern Ghats in the north, the Nilgiri, the Anamalai Hills, and Kerala on the west, by the Bay of Bengal in the east, the Gulf of Mannar, the Palk Strait in the south east, and by the Indian Ocean in the south.
Tamil Nadu is the eleventh largest state in India by area and the seventh most populous state. It is the second largest state economy in India as of 2012. The state ranked 6th among states in India according to the Human Development Index as of 2011. Tamil Nadu is also the most urbanised state in India. The state has the highest number (10.56 per cent) of business enterprises and stands second in total employment (9.97 per cent) in India, compared to the population share of about 6 per cent.
The region has been the home of the Tamil people since at least 500 BCE and is currently the only offical homeland of Tamils anywhere in the world. Its official language Tamil has been in use in inscriptions and literature for over 2000 years.Tamils are soft & sentimentally attached people, easy to mingle with. Tamil Nadu is home to many natural resources, Hindu temples of Dravidian architecture, hill stations, beach resorts, multi-religious pilgrimage sites and eight UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Tamilnadu's problems:
Now Tamilnadu faces many problems, the first leading problem is "politics".Tamilnadu is a huge playground where politicians play tricks and games on people. There is no proper ruler to rule Tamilnadu. Iam damn sure that, if Tamilnadu is given to the group of good and responsible youths, they will make Tamilnadu into a leading state in the world. Because the rulers of Tamilnadu are very old and their thinking is also very old. They are not thinking in the view of 2013 they are thinking in the view of 1990s.
The second problem is "no proper sanitation", due to this in many areas the sewage water is flowing on streets and many people walk on this and get affected by elephantiasis. Tamilnadu is rich in rice production, because of the flow of Cauvery River through Tamilnadu. Now the river has been polluted by the domestic sewages. And many people have been affected by this deadly diseases.
The third problem is vanishing of our Tamilnadu culture and its Tradition day by day. Tamilnadu is rich in its culture and its tradition once upon a time. But now it is vanishing due to the development of technology. Development should be there but at the same time we should also remember our state's culture and tradition.
The fourth problem is its electricity cut down; In Tamilnadu every citizen suffers from electricity cut down of 16 hour per day. Due to this many small scale industries had pushed to close their industries and they will automatically come under poverty line. To solve this many renewable resourses like solar, wind, hydel,etc...From which kienetic energy can be converted into electric energy and many industries will be established in Tamilnadu and there will be a huge development in Tamilnadu's economic level.
The fifth problem is its poverty, between 1993 and 2005; Tamilnadu’s GSDP (at constant prices) grew at 5.46 per cent per annum, whereas the poverty ratio declined by 3.31 per cent per annum, with 146 lakh persons still living below poverty line. The urban poverty ratio declined sharply from 39.9 to 22.2 and the rural poverty ratio declined rather slowly from 32.9 to 22.2. The number of poor persons in rural areas is still 76.50 lakh compared to 69.13 lakh in urban areas. To solve this many PDS shops should be established in Tamilnadu and free education should be provided to each child up to their +2 level.
The sixth problem is child labour, "children are our boon to develop India" says Abdul Kalam and in Tamilnadu child is forced to be a labour in small tea shops and in agricultural field. The future of Tamilnadu is in the hands on these children. so education for every children should be made compulsory.
How to solve this problems:
Only Tamilnadu government cannot solve these problems, as a Tamilnadu citizen we all should put our hands together to solve these problems. So, Tamilnadu will also play a major role in developing India's economic level....
